How can anyone do this to someone!!!???

I woke up this morning to a phone call, a phone call that I never thought I
would receive or ever hear. I'm from a small town, a small town where crime
and bad things really don't happen. The town is so minute and microscopic
in population it's almost impossible to get a few bad seeds in it. Two boys from
my high school were just charged with sexually forcing themselves on a 15 year
old girl. That girl is only a sophomore! One held her against her will and the other
took the reigns. Both of the boys have always been a red light to me. They have
always had a sick sense of humor. Last year the one ,that held the girl against her
will, had a girlfriend, he always bossed her around, ridiculed her, and made fun
of her. For two guys to rob someone of their childhood, their high school years,
sickens me. I feel empathy for the poor girl who has to spend the rest of her years
at this school known as "the girl who got raped". Hopefully her identity will be kept
safe and no one will find out. The terrible thing is most likely the boys will NOT go
to jail. That is what really bothers me. Sexually assault is terrifying and most likely
this experience will haunt her from ever having a normal relationship or trusting
anyone ever again. These two boys ,for their moment of sick pleasure, have costed
a 15 year old girl years of pain and suffering. Knowing that they will walk the streets
easily after being convicted is what else terrifies me. One of the boys, the one who didn't
hold the girl, was convicted last year of exposing himself in a park. That isn't a RED LIGHT
TO ANYONE!??! WHO WATCHES THIS KID?!?! Who let him out of the house!??!
WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?!?!? These children should have been taught to respect
women, and not only women, all people! It breaks my heart knowing that this girl had
to experience her sophomore year, a year where you should be getting your license,
involved with trying to convict two horny, selfish boys.

  1. Huh agreed. The thing about it though is things like this goes on all the time. The asualters are criminals and all to much they don't get convicted or are convicted and are set to serve a miniscule amount of time behind bars because so many people say rape and child molestation is not a crime it is a disease. It steams me up beyond belief, if a person forces away the life of another individual for any amount of time they should be forced to loose there life, it only make sense that if one does not care about the life of others there life should be treated the same.

  2. Wow. We were just talking about your hometown just the other day and how small it was! You know, situations like that make me cringe. I don't know why anyone would do something like that. It not only hurts the girl but it makes them look horrendous! I don't know why they would be proud of something like that and I think jail time is necessary until they get their act together.

  3. wow! this absoultey disgraceful. First off the lack of respect for human decency makes me sad. How could you do that to someone, taking somethin thats beautiful and turning in into something which is the most terrefying thing in the world. I dont agree with the death penalty, but honestly i believe that child molestors and rapists should be shot immediatley after they have been proven guilty by a jury of there peers. There is simply no place in the world for these type of people, and for them to not even go to jail is alot worse. So two horrible wretched excuse's for human beings are going to be allowed to just walk the street without having to pay the consuqences for their actions? wheres our american justice system coming to help this poor girl? Once I knew someone who had something similar happen and the police didnt believe her didnt do a rape kit and didnt even file a police report just because she dressed a lil bit differntly, the way society treats women in general is just sickening.

  4. As a father of a girl I think I would end this problem myself. If I was that girls father those boys wouldn't have to worry about going to jail because they would never be found without the use of a shovel and a forensic scientist. I think that every girl should have a way of defending herself, for example I will teach my daughter martial arts and pry give her a can of mace. I always tell my fiance that if she was in a situation like this then take her car keys or even her thumbs and gouge the attackers eyes out. Don't stop till you feel the bone behind the eye. You may find that gross but the next worse thing to getting murdered in my opinion is someone raping you. For all women who worry about this then you should be proactive and learn how to defend themselves in the event of such a crime.

  5. That's terrifying and horrible, Moe. Few things get me as upset as the idea of rape (or any kind of abuse) when someone holds power over another. My heart aches for the girl, and I hope she gets all the support and love she can from her community. As far as those boys... will they go to juvie? Will they be prosecuted?
